Stonehouse Lawn Tennis Club respects and acknowledges the Data Protection Act (2018) and the legal rights of club members regarding the club’s use, storage and retention of personal information. The Data Protection Act controls how personal information is used and is the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation [ GDPR ]. This ensures such information is managed in a fair, lawful and transparent manner.
Stonehouse Lawn Tennis Club will ask club members and individuals seeking club membership to provide some personal data. This includes among other things name, contact details, date of birth, and financial information (eg bank details for membership payments).
The club will take appropriate security measures to protect retained personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and will store such information securely against loss, destruction or damage.
We will only ask for and process personal data which is legitimately necessary and relevant to club membership. This data will be identified in such a manner that it will be kept no longer than necessary. Personal data will only be passed to a third party in the UK or abroad if this is directly necessary for club membership.
Members will be asked to actively consent to the retention of their personal data. This is necessary in order to become and remain a member of the club.
If a member acts on behalf of other family members to enrol them as members of the club, then it is assumed that they have the right to consent to the retention of personal data relating to those family members.

All emails sent by the system contain a tracking pixel. This is used to track whether each email has been opened by the recipient, and when. This information can be viewed by those users of the system with permission to view email delivery reports. We do not display any information regarding the location of the recipient. Note that the tracking pixel is only activated if the recipient chooses to download images into their email client.
We, Stonehouse Lawn Tennis Club, make use of the myClubhouse software supplied by Simmetrics Ltd to process personal data we include on our myClubhouse website in accordance with our privacy policy set out above. Simmetrics Ltd processes your personal data on our behalf and they can only do so in accordance with our written instructions.
